Our Approach
Great tools don't fix bad systems — and AI is no exception. Plug an agent into a messy workspace and you'll get fast, confident, wrong answers. Our AI engagements start the same way every other OrangeDot engagement does: with the process. Once we know how your team actually works, we identify the few places AI will pay for itself in weeks, not the dozens of places where it would just add noise.
Two Productized Offerings
A focused review of your monday.com workspace, core processes, and team capacity. We tell you exactly where AI will pay back fast, what to skip, and what to build next — with effort estimates and pricing for any builds we recommend.
What's Included
Audit credit applies if you move forward with an AI Agent build within 60 days.
Book Your AI AuditCustom AI agents — built on Claude and connected to your monday.com via MCP — that operate inside your actual workflows. One role, one defined use case, real outputs. Your team opens monday in the morning and the agent's already updated the right deals, drafted the right follow-ups, and flagged the right risks.
Scope Tiers
Custom-scope builds require an AI Audit first — keeps scope clean and our team's time honest.
Scope an AI AgentAgent Examples
These are the most common starter agents — each is a single role with a tight scope. Most clients begin with one, validate the value in 4–6 weeks, then expand.
Reads yesterday's sales calls, updates the matching CRM deals, drafts follow-up emails in the rep's voice, flags stale opportunities for the deal owner.
Reviews active project boards each Monday, generates client-ready status reports, surfaces blockers and slipping milestones before they become problems.
Watches onboarding and renewal boards, drafts personalized check-in emails based on each customer's progress, prepares renewal conversation briefs.
Runs nightly to flag duplicate items, stale records, broken automations, and missing required fields — keeping your monday workspace clean while your team sleeps.
Takes a discovery call transcript and your scoping template, produces a first-draft proposal with hours, scope, and pricing — ready for your review same day.
Aggregates data across boards, drafts leadership reports, flags trends and outliers, formats output to match your existing report templates.
How It Works
Same consultative process you'd get on any OrangeDot engagement — discovery, design, build, support — applied to AI work specifically. No mystery, no scope creep, no abandoned agents.
Free 30-minute call to understand your workspace, your team, and what's actually slowing you down. We confirm whether you're a fit for an audit, an agent build, or both.
1–2 weeks. We map your workflows, score AI opportunities by ROI and risk, and deliver a written report with recommended next-step builds and pricing.
2–6 weeks per agent depending on scope. We design the system prompt, wire the MCP connection, configure voice and persona, QA against real data, and document everything.
Agent goes live with a 6-month minimum support retainer. Monthly tuning, prompt refinements, model and platform updates, plus quarterly reviews to expand or evolve.
Who It's For
FAQ
The AI Audit is a flat $1,000 fixed-fee engagement. That covers a 1–2 week review of up to 5 monday.com boards and 3 core workflows, two stakeholder interviews, a written AI opportunity report, a prioritized roadmap, and a 60-minute review call. The full audit credit applies toward an AI Agent build if you move forward within 60 days.
Agents are scoped per role with three typical tiers: Starter at $5,000–$8,000 (one agent, one use case, one monday board), Pro at $10,000–$15,000 (multi-step logic, cross-board workflows, per-rep voice tuning), and Custom builds at $25,000+ (multi-agent orchestration, multiple integrations, enterprise security needs). Every build includes discovery, system prompt design, MCP wiring, QA against real data, and documentation. A monthly support retainer ($750–$2,000) is required for at least 6 months post-launch.
AI agents are not "build and walk away" software. Models change, monday.com APIs evolve, edge cases surface as the agent runs against real data, and your business will want to expand the agent's scope as it proves value. The retainer covers monthly check-ins, prompt tuning, model and platform updates, and a small bank of hours for refinements. Without it, the agent breaks within weeks and the calls come back to us anyway — this way, expectations are clear from day one.
Not always. Productized starter agents (a Sales Sidekick, a Workspace Hygienist) have well-defined scopes and can move directly into a build. Custom or multi-agent engagements require an audit first — that's where the scope gets defined, risks get surfaced, and ROI gets validated before you commit to a larger build.
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI assistants like Claude securely connect to external systems — including your monday.com workspace, your Granola call transcripts, your Google Calendar, and other tools your team already uses. We use MCP to give your agent the access it needs to do real work without you handing over admin credentials or rebuilding infrastructure.
Your data stays in monday.com and any other systems you already use. The agent reads and writes through secure MCP connections during a session — it doesn't store, train on, or copy your data into a third-party model. You control access at the connector level and can revoke it at any time. We follow Anthropic's data handling and SOC 2 standards on the model side.
An audit takes 1–2 weeks. A Starter agent build takes 2–4 weeks once the audit (or scope) is signed off. Pro builds are typically 4–6 weeks. Custom multi-agent engagements are scoped per project but typically 8–12 weeks.
Both platforms ship updates regularly. Routine updates are covered under your support retainer. Major platform changes that require more than the retainer's included hours are quoted separately as a change order — but we surface them proactively, never as a surprise.
Yes — that's most clients' second move. Once a Sales Sidekick is proven, teams typically add a CSM Sidekick, a PM Sidekick, or a Workspace Hygienist next. Each new agent or use case is a new scope and a new SOW, so you control the pace of expansion.
